“Did Not Arrive (DNA)” policy:

This practice will record each DNA that occurs for an individual.

If you happen to miss your 3rd appointment with us in a calendar year we will charge a fee of $50 which is not refundable through Medicare.

Please take advantage of our SMS reminder system in which you can cancel or reschedule your appointment.

We require a minimum of 1 hour notification if you are not able to attend your appointment.

Our practice staff use the time to phone people in need of doctors attention on the day and without having to turn people away who require medical attention.

If you are having trouble remembering to show for your doctors’ appointments please advise our staff who will gladly give you a reminder call on that day.


“Script without appointment” policy:

Please allow up to 48 hours for a script.

Our practice offers a fee for service to our regular patients in which you can request a script without an appointment.

The exemption is that you must have attended the practice in the past 3 months. This is to ensure you are receiving the best possible treatment, e.g. a script for blood pressure tablets may need a doctors review.

The practice will charge a $20 fee for a request for a prescription without an appointment.

This service is still at the discretion of a treating practitioner, and may not be possible in all circumstances.
